Fire breaks out on passenger plane during flight in Los Angeles

(Web Desk): A passenger plane caught fire during a flight in Los Angeles. The plane had to make an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport due to an engine fire shortly after takeoff.

According to international media, the incident occurred on a passenger plane flying from Los Angeles Airport to Atlanta.

Report said that fire broke out in the plane s engine just minutes after takeoff, after which the crew contacted the airport and was able to land again at the Los Angeles airport.

In the video, an engine can be seen on fire and circling above the airport.

The plane was carrying 272 passengers and 9 crew members. There were no reports of anyone being injured in the incident, while firefighting crews had already reached the runway and the fire was extinguished upon landing.

A spokesperson for the airline confirmed the incident and said, "Shortly after takeoff, a fire broke out in the left engine, upon which it was immediately diverted and it was able to land successfully."

According to the report, all passengers were safely disembarked from the plane upon landing. The passengers appeared calm and grateful to the captain for making the right and timely decision.

The Federal Aviation Administration, which oversees aviation matters, has launched an investigation and is trying to determine the cause of the fire, but no concrete evidence has yet emerged.
