These design changes have been speculated for some time, including a longer camera bump that now stretches across the entire width of the phone, and the flash and LiDAR scanner being shifted to the right side.
Similar to the iPad Pro, the device is expected to transition to an aluminum frame that wraps around the new camera bump. To enable wireless charging, this aluminum frame will feature a cutout just below the camera bump for a glass segment.
Additionally, the Apple logo is being relocated to the center of this glass section. This repositioning means the logo will appear lower on the back of the phone compared to previous models.

As a result, the appearance of MagSafe accessories will also be affected. The Apple logo typically aligns with the position of the MagSafe ring, so without repositioning, the ring on clear cases would overlap or obscure the logo. Reportedly, Apple plans to introduce a break in the circular MagSafe magnet array to ensure the logo remains clearly visible through transparent cases.
The latest renders, shared by leaker “Majin Bu,” show both the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max in clear cases, highlighting the relocated Apple logo now centered within the lower glass cutout.
The iPhone 17 Pro lineup is expected to launch this fall, featuring Apple’s new A19 Pro chip, a 48-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 24-megapixel front-facing camera.
