Pak App launched to simplify public services with one digital gateway
The National Information Technology Board (NITB) introduced the application as part of the “Pakistan Asaan Khidmat” initiative. The goal is to make government services easier to access and improve the digital experience for citizens.
Previously known as the City Islamabad App, the platform has been upgraded with a fresh design and improved features. Users can now navigate the app more easily and access services more quickly.
Officials said the app connects different public services within one digital system. This approach is expected to reduce hassle and help residents complete various tasks from a single platform.
The initiative is also aligned with the government’s Digital Pakistan vision. Authorities believe technology can make public service delivery smarter, faster and more convenient.
Citizens can download the Pak App on both Android and iOS devices. After installation, they can begin using a range of government services through the platform.
