PUBG Mobile creator Farooq Ahmad dies at 28 in Canada – what happened

Farooq Ahmad, also known online as Farooq Ahmad YT, had nearly one million subscribers and was an official PUBG Mobile partner. He had built a large following through gaming content, account showcases and high-value crate-opening videos.
The creator had more than 925,000 YouTube subscribers and around 85,000 Instagram followers. He was also recognised as a Canadian ambassador for PUBG Mobile.
Death reportedly linked to accident
The exact cause and circumstances of Farooq Ahmad’s death have not been officially disclosed. However, Pakistani media reports cited by NDTV said he reportedly died in a motorcycle accident in Calgary, Alberta.
His sudden death prompted tributes from fellow creators and members of the PUBG Mobile community. Several well-known creators shared messages of grief and prayers for his family.

PUBG Mobile’s official account also paid tribute to Farooq Ahmad, remembering his contribution to the community. The game’s message described him as someone who brought passion, kindness and memorable moments to fellow players.
Farooq had recently hosted a watch party for the PUBG Mobile World Cup on his channel. Fans later filled his social media pages with messages remembering the creator and his work.
