The iPhone 18 Pro series has only just launched, and Apple's foldable iPhone is reportedly due in October. Leaks about the next generation have already begun. With the iPhone turning 20 next year, speculation is growing that Apple could skip the iPhone 19 and go straight to the iPhone 20 series.

iPhone 20 Pro display size

According to Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station, the iPhone 20 Pro could have a 6.41-inch display with a 2686 x 1236 resolution. That is slightly bigger than the 6.3-inch screen on the iPhone 18 Pro. The iPhone 20 Pro Max is tipped to get a 6.96-inch panel at 2912 x 1340 pixels.

Quad-curved display replaces flat screen

The biggest change may be the design. Apple is reportedly testing a borderless, quad-curved display with all four edges gently curved. Current iPhones use flat screens, so the shift would be a major departure and a fitting way to mark the iPhone's 20th anniversary.

Punch-hole may replace Dynamic Island

The leak also claims Apple could replace the Dynamic Island with a much smaller punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Face ID components are reportedly moving beneath the display, which would free up more screen space.

Nothing official yet

The details reportedly come from early test units, and the launch is still about a year away. Apple has not confirmed any specifications, so the final screen size, design and camera cutout could still change.
