Featuring Pakistan, Afghanistan, and UAE, taking place at Sharjah Cricket Stadium from August 29 to September 7.
Originally planned as a bilateral series between Pakistan and Afghanistan in August, the PCB proposed expanding it into a tri-nation tournament hosted by the UAE giving all teams vital match practice in conditions closely resembling those expected for the Asia Cup 2025 beginning September 9 in the UAE.
Each team will face its rivals twice in a round-robin format, and the final is set for September 7 under floodlights, with all matches scheduled for 7:00 PM local time.

This tri-nation series is more than just warm-up games. It’s a calculated move by PCB to acclimatize players to UAE conditions, test squad combinations, and build momentum before the Asia Cup. The inclusion of a rising UAE side adds competitive depth, while Afghanistan offers spin-heavy challenges.
With Pakistan s marquee match against India just a day after the tri-series final, team form and confidence will be crucial. Fans and analysts will closely monitor selections, tactical rotations, and individual performances under pressure, making this tournament a high-stakes prelude to one of Asia’s biggest cricket spectacles.
