Naseem sustained a side injury during the match against Karachi Kings, forcing him out of action for the foreseeable future. Team management stated that his recovery is being closely monitored, with hopes of a return later in the tournament subject to medical clearance.
As a precautionary measure, all-rounder Mubasir Khan has been named as a partial replacement. Mubasir, who previously represented Islamabad United in earlier PSL editions, has featured in 14 matches, scoring 49 runs and claiming two wickets.
In a further boost to their pace attack, RawalPindiz have signed New Zealand fast bowler Ben Sears for Rs. 2.5 crore. Sears, who has taken 31 wickets in 27 T20 Internationals, is set to make his PSL debut after limited franchise experience.

The team has also replaced injured pacer Zaman Khan with Jalat Khan following a shoulder injury sustained during domestic competition.
