Each PSL XI squad will have 16 to 20 players, including 5 to 7 foreign players, with a requirement to field at least three foreign players in each playing XI. Teams must include at least two uncapped under-23 players, with one in the playing XI.
Franchises can retain up to five players, while unrestrained players return to the auction pool. Teams are allowed to directly sign one foreign player who did not feature in PSL X. Franchise purses may be extended from Rs450 million to Rs500 million to accommodate the directly signed foreign player. The PCB will provide financial support to help franchises secure top foreign talent.
