PCB unveils full schedule for PSL 11

LAHORE (Web Desk): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the complete schedule for PSL 11, with the tournament set to run from March 26 to May 3 across six venues in Pakistan.

The 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League will feature eight teams and a total of 44 matches in a 39-day competition. Two new teams, Rawalpindi Pindiz and Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen, will make their debut this season.

The tournament will begin with defending champions Lahore Qalandars facing Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen on March 26 at their home ground. The competition is expected to attract huge crowds as top Pakistani and international players take part.

According to the PCB schedule, each team will play 10 matches during the league stage. The top four teams will qualify for the playoffs, which will include Qualifier 1, Eliminator 1, Qualifier 2, and the grand finale.

The final of PSL 11 will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on May 3. The PCB has also kept a reserve day on May 4 in case the final cannot be completed due to weather or other issues.

Fans will also enjoy six double-header match days during the tournament, with three of them scheduled at Gaddafi Stadium.

The 11th edition will be played at six venues across Pakistan. Faisalabad and Peshawar will host PSL matches for the first time, joining Lahore, Karachi, Multan, and Rawalpindi as host cities.

Among the venues, Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host the highest number of matches, with 15 games. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, while Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad will stage seven matches.

Karachi’s National Bank Stadium will host six matches, while Multan Cricket Stadium will host four games. Peshawar’s Imran Khan Cricket Stadium will host one match, a day fixture between Peshawar Zalmi and Rawalpindi Pindiz on March 28.

Cricket fans across Pakistan are expected to witness intense competition as the country’s biggest T20 league returns with new teams, new venues, and exciting rivalries.
