The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken a decisive step regarding the ownership of the Multan Sultans franchise in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). PCB has officially announced the sale of the Multan Sultans, inviting interested parties to submit bids for the franchise rights.

According to the PCB notification, parties wishing to participate must submit technical proposals by January 30, 2026. Only technically qualified bidders will move forward to the next stage of the selection process. This move comes as part of PCB’s strategy to strengthen and expand the PSL, following the recent auction that introduced new franchises in Hyderabad and Sialkot.
