(Web Desk): The ICC Under-19 Men’s World Cup Super Six stage is set, with Pakistan and India scheduled to face each other on January 1 in Bulawayo.

The Super Six lineup of the ICC Under-19 Men’s World Cup has been finalised following the completion of the group stage, and the much-anticipated Pakistan vs India encounter has also been confirmed.

The tournament is being jointly hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia, where the top-performing teams from the group stage have progressed to the Super Six round. With this development, cricket fans now have clarity on the schedule of high-profile matches, including the traditional rivalry between Pakistan and India.

Pakistan Under-19 team, known as the Green Shirts, will begin their Super Six campaign with a match against New Zealand on January 27. Meanwhile, the biggest clash of the tournament, the Pakistan vs India match, will take place on January 1 at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.

A total of 12 teams have qualified for the Super Six stage and have been divided into two groups of six teams each. Group One consists of Pakistan, India, New Zealand, England, Bangladesh, and hosts Zimbabwe. Group Two includes Australia, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, South Africa, West Indies, and Ireland.

According to the tournament format, each team will play two matches in the Super Six stage before the knockout rounds. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals.

For Pakistan, the path to the semi-finals is clear but challenging. The team will need to win both of its Super Six matches to secure a spot in the last four of the tournament. Cricket analysts believe the upcoming matches, especially the clash against India, could prove decisive in shaping Pakistan’s title hopes.
