Web Desk: Multan Sultans has returned to the spotlight after Sialkot Stallionz rebranding was confirmed ahead of PSL 11 2026.

The big announcement was made in Lahore during a joint press conference attended by Salman Naseer, franchise owner Hamza Majeed and CD Ventures head Gohar Shah. Officials said the decision marks a fresh chapter before PSL 11 2026 begins.

According to league authorities, CD Ventures acquired a majority stake in the franchise, leading to the Sialkot Stallionz rebranding.

The team was originally bought by OZ Developers for Rs1,850,000,000 at the auction. After new investment, its valuation has reportedly increased to Rs2,000,000,000.

Salman Naseer confirmed that the request for Sialkot Stallionz rebranding came after Gohar Shah became CEO. He approved the move, officially announcing that Multan Sultans return as the franchise’s new identity for PSL 11 2026.

Hamza Majeed called the partnership strategic and said it was cleared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He added that Multan Sultans return with strong backing and fresh energy.

Speaking at the event, Gohar Shah said restoring the Multan identity was important for regional pride. He explained that the Sialkot Stallionz rebranding reflects a broader vision for success in PSL 11 2026. “A stallion alone cannot win the PSL,” he said. “To move forward, a stallion needs a sultan — and we have come as Sultans.”
