Web Desk: Former Pakistan cricketer Kamran Akmal has expressed frustration over PSL 2026 after his brother Umar Akmal’s surprising exclusion from the player auction list.

Kamran Akmal, speaking on X, said the decision was “unfair” and left fans shocked. Despite Umar Akmal’s official registration and strong domestic T20 record, 1029 runs in 41 PSL matches at a strike rate of 144,32, his name was missing from the auction.

The former wicketkeeper-batsman tagged PCB and PSL officials in his post and demanded clarity, adding the hashtag #JusticeforUmarAkmal. He questioned how such a player with proven performance could be overlooked.

Fans and cricket analysts have joined the debate online, sharing disappointment and calling for transparency in PSL 2026 selections. Many see this as a major oversight that could affect the credibility of the league.
