Karachi (Web Desk): The Quetta Gladiators reignited their PSL 11 campaign with a clinical 61-run victory over the Rawalpindiz at the National Bank Stadium on Friday.

Electing to bat first, Quetta’s top order looked in fine touch, posting a formidable total of 182/6.

The innings was anchored by an explosive half-century from their middle-order powerhouse, who struck four towering sixes to dismantle the Rawalpindiz bowling attack in the death overs.

In response, the Rawalpindiz chase never gained momentum. The Gladiators’ pace attack was relentless, picking up three quick wickets within the power play.

Despite a brief resistance from the middle order, Quetta’s spinners tightened the screws, consistently taking wickets at crucial intervals.

The Rawalpindiz were eventually bundled out for a mere 121 in 17.3 overs.

This victory earns Quetta two vital points, significantly improving their Net Run Rate as the race for the playoffs intensifies.

With the tournament now centered in Karachi and Lahore, the Gladiators appear to have found their rhythm on these surfaces.
