Lahore Qalandars posted a solid total of 197 for 6 in their 20 overs after a brilliant century by Fakhar Zaman against Quetta Gladiators.
The innings started on a shaky note when Khalil Ahmed dismissed Mohammad Farooq for just 4, giving Quetta an early breakthrough. Fakhar Zaman then steadied the innings alongside Abdullah Shafique. The pair built a 57-run partnership, helping Lahore recover from early pressure.
Shafique scored 14 before being dismissed by Abrar Ahmed, leaving Lahore at 64 for 2. Fakhar, however, continued his aggressive approach and kept the scoreboard moving. He reached his half-century in style and later formed a crucial partnership with Charith Asalanka, taking Lahore past the 100-run mark.

Fakhar played an outstanding innings and brought up his third PSL century with powerful stroke play, pushing Lahore’s total beyond 150. Asalanka provided solid support with 31 runs off 24 balls before being dismissed, ending an important 96-run partnership.
Fakhar was eventually dismissed after scoring 103 off 51 balls, including 11 fours and 6 sixes, with the score at 164 for 4. In the later overs, Khalil Ahmed removed Sikandar Raza for 5, while Shaheen Afridi was run out for 8 by Alzarri Joseph.
Daniel Sams added valuable runs at the end, remaining unbeaten on 18 off 12 balls to help Lahore reach a competitive total. Quetta Gladiators now face a challenging target as Lahore Qalandars look to defend their strong score.
