LAHORE (Web Desk): Multan Sultans owner Ali Tareen has strongly responded to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) after receiving a legal notice, tearing it apart in defiance.

In a video message shared on social media, Tareen revealed that the PCB had sent him a notice demanding he withdraw his critical statements and issue a written apology. The notice warned that failure to comply could result in the termination of his franchise contract and even blacklisting from the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Expressing deep affection for PSL, Tareen said the league belongs to the entire nation but made it clear that he would not remain silent over “injustice or wrong decisions.” He emphasized that he stands for fairness and transparency, no matter the consequences

Tareen added that while he is always open to dialogue to resolve disputes, the PCB has yet to establish any formal communication with him.

It is worth mentioning that the PCB recently sent a legal notice to Multan Sultans over alleged violations of the franchise agreement and claims that the team’s management was part of a campaign harming the league’s image. Interestingly, the notice also cited Tareen’s alleged delay of 15 minutes in a virtual meeting as part of the complaint.

Despite the allegations, Tareen reaffirmed that he will not bow to any pressure and remains open to constructive dialogue to address the issue.
