
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revised the schedule for the 13th ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, which will be held from 30 September to 2 November 2025 in India and Sri Lanka.
Due to the unavailability of M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai will now host up to five major fixtures, including three league matches, a semi-final, and possibly the final.
Other confirmed venues remain the same: ACA Stadium (Guwahati), Holkar Stadium (Indore), ACA-VDCA Stadium (Visakhapatnam), and R. Premadasa Stadium (Colombo, Sri Lanka).

The final of the tournament will take place either in Colombo or Navi Mumbai on 2 November. The semi-finals are scheduled for 29 October (Guwahati or Colombo) and 30 October (Navi Mumbai).
ICC Chairman Jay Shah praised Navi Mumbai’s growing role in women’s cricket, citing strong local support and previous successful events like the Women’s Premier League. He expressed confidence that this tournament will be a landmark moment for the women s game, both in India and globally.
