South Africa official tour of Pakistan later this year will be another significant event for Pakistani cricket.
The projected tour schedule has been made public and promises fans exciting action.
According to the plan, the Proteas will play two Test matches, three ODIs, and three T20Is in October and November 2025.
This will be South Africa’s first test visit to Pakistan in more than four years.
The Tests are scheduled for October 12 to 16 and October 20 to 24, while the limited overs matches will follow.
The final venues are yet to be confirmed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
After participating in the tri-nation series against New Zealand in February, this will be South Africa s second trip to Pakistan this year.
But the forthcoming series is more significant because it features Test matches, which South Africa has always dominated.
Shan Masood s Pakistani team will be the first opponent of the reigning World Test Champions in their championship defence.
However, the Proteas have won 17 of the 30 Test matches between the two countries, so history is on their side.

Pakistan has only won six Test matches, with the other seven being in draws.
The ODI record is similar, with South Africa winning 52 of 87 matches, while Pakistan claimed 34 victories.
In T20Is, however, the rivalry is much tighter, with both teams winning 12 matches each.
South Africa, in superb form since lifting their first World Test Championship title, will look to extend their dominance when they arrive in October.
Beyond the numbers, this series shows Pakistan’s growing importance as a regular stop for international cricket. For fans, it will be weeks of thrilling cricket, and for the players, a chance to break old records and build new ones.
