
He played a pivotal role in securing the West Indies first Test victory in the country in 35 years.
In the first Test, Warrican achieved career-best figures of 10/101 and contributed an unbeaten 31 runs. However, despite his efforts, Pakistan, led by Sajid Khan s 9/115, won by 127 runs.
In the second Test, Warrican’s unbeaten 36 at No. 11 helped West Indies recover from a precarious 95/9 to reach 163. He then sent four players to pavilion in the first innings.
In the final innings, Warrican produced a match-winning spell, claiming 5/27 as Pakistan were bowled out, securing a 120-run victory for West Indies—marking their first Test win in Pakistan since 1990.
Warrican finished the series with 19 wickets at an average of 9.00 and 85 runs at 42.50, earning the Player of the Series award.
“This award is an honour," Warrican said.
"One of my goals was to take my first Test five-for, but I never imagined it would be this grand. Multan now holds a special place in my heart, not only for the historic win but for earning this recognition," he added.
