Dharamsala, situated less than 100 kilometers from Pathankot—where air raid alerts were issued—has become a flashpoint amid rising regional tensions. The situation has prompted the BCCI to hold emergency talks regarding the future of the tournament.
Players and officials were informed of the air raid alerts, and according to reports by Indian media, panic spread among both teams, with foreign players expressing particular concern for their safety.
