According to details, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has agreed on PCB’s proposal regarding playing the upcoming tournament and other matches.
Under the formula, the matches of Pakistan and India will be played at neutral venue.
The agreement proposed that India would not play on Pakistan’s soil and similarly, Pakistan would not play any match on Indian grounds for the next three years.
Indian media claimed that the development urged after meeting between PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and newly-appointed ICC Chairman Jay Shah in Dubai.
Yesterday, Mohsin Naqvi clarified that Pakistan’s preparations for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy tournament have been completed, vowing to provide best possible facilities for the event. PCB Chairman Naqvi expressed these views during his visit to National Stadium in Karachi.
It may be recalled that India refused to travel to Pakistan for playing matches under Champions Trophy 2025. The political conflicts prevailed over the sports’ grounds, attempting to block Pakistan’s hosting for Champions Trophy.
