Champions Trophy 2025: Will the new formula resolve deadlock?
Champions Trophy 2025
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): Talks are underway between the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) regarding the schedule and venues of the Champions Trophy, and a resolution is expected soon.

According to sources, if the two organisations agree on the formula proposed by Pakistan, the matter will not be put for voting. According to the new formula, both India and Pakistan will play all their matches in Dubai. This formula will not be called a hybrid model but will be given a different name.

Sources state that if all three parties agree on this formula, there will be no need for a board meeting, and if an agreement is reached, the board members will be formally informed.

The purpose of this formula is to escape from Pakistan s legal action and ensure that both countries play their matches on neutral venues. Under this formula, Pakistan and India will avoid playing each other in their respective countries.

The ICC has advised the BCCI to accept this formula to end the deadlock over the Champions Trophy schedule and venues. Sources expect the matter will be resolved within two days, bringing good news for cricket fans in both countries.
