A fresh weather system has entered Pakistan, triggering rain, strong winds, and possible hailstorms in several parts of the country, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
The department said that the impact of this system has already started appearing in different regions. Rain and hailstorms are expected in the federal capital Islamabad and surrounding areas today.
Forecasts also indicate rain and hail in various districts of Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Meanwhile, Gilgit-Baltistan is likely to experience partly cloudy weather.
In southern parts, light rain is expected in Karachi, with stronger winds and possible thunderstorms forecast for tomorrow. Authorities warned that changing weather conditions may bring dust storms and gusty winds along with rain.
The weather system is expected to persist intermittently until March 29, affecting multiple regions across the country.

In Lahore, the sky is expected to remain partly cloudy over the next 24 hours, with no immediate chances of rain. However, rainfall is likely later in the week.
Temperature in Lahore is forecast to range between 16°C and 31°C, with wind speeds around 3 km/h and humidity levels near 63 percent.
