(Web Desk): Heavy rain alert issued for Punjab and Karachi as weather turns cooler across multiple regions.

Authorities have issued a fresh rain alert across Pakistan, warning of heavy downpours in several regions starting tomorrow. The development is expected to bring a noticeable drop in temperatures and disrupt routine life in many cities.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab has warned that most districts in the province are likely to receive heavy rainfall from tomorrow. Officials have urged residents to take precautionary measures amid the changing weather conditions.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued a new forecast for southern parts of the country. According to the department, rain is expected in Karachi and other cities of Sindh over the next two days, with thunderstorms and strong winds likely between April 2 and April 4.

In Islamabad, late-night rainfall has already brought a chill to the air, with temperatures dropping to 13 degrees Celsius. Intermittent showers are expected to continue throughout the day, further lowering temperatures.
