PMD warns of extreme cold and dense fog across Pakistan
(Web Desk): The Pakistan Meteorological Department has warned that cold, dry weather and dense fog will persist across much of Pakistan, with extremely cold conditions expected in northern regions.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), cold and dry weather will continue across most parts of the country, while very cold to extremely cold conditions are forecast for northern areas.

The PMD cautioned that dense fog is likely in many plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh, particularly during early morning and nighttime hours, significantly reducing visibility and increasing travel risks.

In Islamabad, cold and dry conditions are expected throughout the day, with strong winds developing in the afternoon. Most districts of Punjab will remain cold, while Murree and Galiyat are likely to experience sustained cold temperatures.
