Pakistan's weather is expected to remain unsettled on Tuesday as the Meteorological Department forecast more rain for several parts of the country, while flood-hit northern areas continued to face severe challenges.

In Lahore, the weather is expected to stay partly cloudy with a chance of rain during the day. Despite the forecast, calm winds have increased humidity, making conditions hot and uncomfortable. The minimum temperature was recorded at 28°C, while the maximum is likely to reach 35°C. Winds are expected to blow at around 8km/h, with humidity remaining high at 89%.

Karachi is also likely to experience partly cloudy skies, with light rain or drizzle expected at a few locations, especially during the night. The city's current temperature stands at 29°C, while the maximum is expected to remain between 33°C and 35°C. Southwesterly winds continue to blow across the city, and humidity has been recorded at 74%. Air quality in Karachi remains satisfactory, with pollution levels staying below 100 particulate matter units.

Meanwhile, heavy rainfall has triggered flood-like conditions in Chilas, where strong water currents have damaged agricultural land and standing crops. Several people have lost their lives in rain-related incidents, while the Babusar Road has been closed for all kinds of traffic due to flooding and safety concerns.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that since July 29, at least six people have died and six others have been injured in rain-related accidents across the province. A total of 65 houses have also been damaged in incidents reported from Abbottabad, Peshawar, Swat, Buner, Khyber, Chitral and other districts.
