According to the Meteorological Department, a new wave of westerly winds is likely to enter the country from July 13. Under this system, rain is expected in the eastern and southern areas of Balochistan from July 13 to 16.

The Meteorological Department said that this system is also likely to bring thundershowers in the areas of Quetta, Zhob, Qila Saifullah, Qila Abdullah, Ziarat, Sherani, Musa Khel, Loralai, Sibi, Bolan, Barkhan, Naseerabad, Kalat, Lasbela, Khuzdar, Awaran, Jaffarabad, Dera Bugti and Kohlu in Balochistan.
In addition, there is a possibility of rain in many places in Sindh from July 15 to 17, during which rain may occur in Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, Sanghar, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu and Hyderabad, while rain is likely in Karachi from July 15 to 17.
The Meteorological Department further said that thunderstorms are possible in many parts of the country from today to July 17.
