
According to the weather forecast, rainfall is expected in northern parts due to a new western weather system.

Met Office stated that the western disturbance is expected to hit upper parts of the country starting April 8. The various areas in northern parts including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, and Mansehra are likely to receive rain.
The rainfall is also expected in Abbottabad, Battagram, Buner, Bajaur, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to the Met office, the intermittent rain is also expected in twin cities - Islamabad, Rawalpindi. Jhelum, Chakwal, Talagang, Mianwali, and northeast Punjab are also expected to receive rain, according to the weather updates.
The winds containing dust may impact plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and upper Sindh, while temperatures in parts of central and southern Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan may remain 4 to 7 Celsius.
The department has urged the public to avoid unnecessary sun exposure during daytime and increase water intake to stay hydrated.
Farmers have also been advised to plan their agricultural activities in line with the expected weather conditions.
