(Web Desk): Pakistan’s weather expected to remain mixed with monsoon showers and hazy sunshine

Pakistan’s monsoon continues to deliver a true weather mosaic today, offering everything from overcast skies and drizzles to bright, hazy sunshine.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi wakes under a blanket of clouds, with temperatures climbing from a cool 86°F (30°C) at sunrise to around 93°F (34°C) by mid‑afternoon. Occasional breaks may let a few sunbeams through, but mostly you’ll want to keep your shades handy and enjoy the gentle breeze.


In Lahore, pockets of light shower this morning give way to steady cloud cover. The mercury will hover between 82°F (28°C) and a peak of 89°F (32°C). It’s the perfect weather for sipping chai under shelter,just don’t ditch that umbrella if you venture out after 4 PM.

Up in the Islamabad area, thunderheads rumble through the Margalla foothills early on. Showers should ease by late morning, leaving scattered clouds and occasional sunny spells. Expect a high near 90°F (32°C), so plan indoor breaks if you’re hiking or exploring.


Peshawar sees an energetic mix of intermittent storms and sunny intervals. Temperatures will rise to about 92°F (34°C), making puddle‑splashing a fun possibility, just watch for sudden gusts and lightning before stepping outside.
