As the monsoon season rolls on in Punjab, Lahore woke up to heavy clouds and warm, sticky air this morning. The temperature started off around 28°C (82°F) and is expected to climb to a muggy 31°C (88°F) by the afternoon. With humidity hanging in the air, it’s likely to feel even warmer than the thermometer shows.
Between 2 PM and 6 PM, the city could see scattered thunderstorms, with short bursts of rain and gusty winds sweeping through. These downpours may cause minor flooding in low-lying areas and could slow down traffic on busy roads. By evening, however, things are expected to calm down, with skies beginning to clear and the temperature easing to around 27°C (81°F).

Tonight looks mostly clear, offering some relief from the day’s heat and a better setting for anyone heading out. The midday sun, though, will still be intense, so it s a good idea to wear sunscreen, stay in the shade when possible, and drink plenty of water.
