
Lahore woke up this Monday to a blanket of thick clouds, giving the city a warm but slightly comfortable start.
Early morning temperatures were around 27 °C (81 °F), and the cloud cover helped reduce the sun s early glare.
The temperature will gradually rise during the early hours before reaching a sweltering 37 °C (98 °F) in the afternoon on average.

Despite the clouds, the humidity will make it feel even hotter, and people heading outdoors are advised to stay hydrated and avoid direct sun during peak hours.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the temperature will rise to around 32 °C (90 °F) by 10 AM and 33–34 °C (91–94 °F) by 11 AM. By midday, the city will be baking at 35 °C (95 °F), with humidity making it feel heavier.
The warmest part of the day will be around 2 PM, when the mercury is expected to touch 37 °C (98 °F). From late afternoon, the heat will slowly ease, dropping to 36 °C (97 °F) at 4 PM, 34 °C (93 °F) by 6 PM, and 32 °C (90 °F) in the evening around 8 PM.
Looking ahead, Tuesday and Wednesday will continue to be hot with highs of 34 to 35 °C (93 to 95 °F) with partly to mostly overcast sky.
By Thursday and Friday, the weather is expected to shift, with morning showers perhaps bringing cooler temperatures of between 30 and 32 °C (86 and 90 °F).
Over the weekend, there may be more clouds, thunderstorms in some places, and a much-needed respite from the extreme heat.
