According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi is bracing for another hot and humid day, with temperatures expected to touch 37 °C and fall to around 26 °C at night.
The morning began with mild warmth and sticky air, but conditions are set to intensify as the day progresses, especially in the afternoon when the combination of heat and humidity will make it feel warmer than the actual temperature.
According to weather’s hourly forecast highlights the peak heat between 1 PM and 4 PM, while the evening will bring only slight relief as temperatures dip to the low 30s °C, though humidity will remain high through the night.
PMD has also predicted that Karachi and nearby coastal regions will continue to face hot and humid weather in the coming days, with the possibility of light drizzle or brief showers due to sea breeze activity.

Looking at the week ahead, weather forecast suggests that daytime highs will mostly hover between 34 to 35 °C, while nighttime lows will stay around 26 to27 °C, keeping conditions warm and sticky.
PMD’s outlook confirms this trend, indicating no major weather changes on the horizon, though localized drizzles may provide short-term relief.
Compared with the city’s usual late-September weather, today’s 37 °C high is slightly above normal, as average highs are typically closer to 33 to 35 °C.
The increased humidity is making the atmosphere heavier, adding to discomfort for residents.
Health experts recommend staying hydrated, wearing light clothing, and avoiding prolonged sun exposure during peak afternoon hours to cope with the oppressive weather.
