Power supply to many areas was disrupted as dozens of feeders tripped, and the low-lying areas were inundated due to the rain.

Several areas in Lahore including Lakshmi Chowk, Shimla Pahari, Shahdara, Davies Road, Jail Road, Airport, Gulberg, Upper Mall, etc.

Similarly, other areas including Qartaba Chowk, Mughalpura, Baghbanpura, Garhi Shahu, Nishtar Town, Tajpura, Pani Wala Talab, and Gulshan Ravi also received heavy rain.

Rainwater accumulated on roads and in streets, causing motorists to face difficulties in reaching their destinations. The Met Office has predicted more rain in the city during the next 24 hours.
