Cold weather to prevail across the country: PMD
LAHORE (Web Desk): The cold and dry weather is likely to engulf most parts of the country, according to the weather forecast.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said hilly areas are expected to experience very cold weather during morning and night in next twelve hours.

However, PMD predicted that Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir would experience cloudy weather with light rain and snowfall with gusty winds.

Weather department forecast cloudy weather in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The areas, Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula, are likely to experience light rain and snowfall during night.

Temperatures were recorded in Islamabad at two degree centigrade, Lahore at nine, Karachi at thirteen, Peshawar at five, Quetta at zero, Gilgit at minus-four, Murree at one and Muzafarabad at four degree centigrade.
