(Web Desk): The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a warning for possible rain and snowfall in Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and Balochistan.

According to NDMA, most districts in Balochistan are expected to receive intermittent rain over the next 24 to 48 hours. Areas like Zhob, Qilla Saifullah, Ziarat, Pishin, Quetta, and surrounding regions are likely to be affected.

Similarly, rain and snowfall are expected in the hilly regions of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. Skardu, Hunza, Ghizer, Astor, Diamer, and Shigar may experience heavy rain and snow in the coming days.

NDMA has warned that snowfall in mountainous areas can make roads slippery and affect traffic flow. Travelers are advised to exercise caution, avoid unnecessary trips, and not drive vehicles with old or weak tires in these areas.

Authorities also urged residents to carry essential supplies like snow chains and extra fuel if travel is unavoidable. Cooperation with local administration, following instructions, and staying updated on weather conditions are highly recommended.
