The 21st International Cholistan Desert Jeep Rally has been officially rescheduled and will now be held from February 11 to February 15, 2026, across the districts of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, and Rahim Yar Khan, according to the Punjab Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC). The rally was originally scheduled from February 4 to February 8 but has now been postponed to accommodate logistical arrangements.
The event will kick off with an inaugural ceremony in Bahawalpur on February 10, followed by registration and inspection of participating vehicles and drivers on February 11, along with a driver’s conference. The qualifying round is set for February 12 at Dilwash Stadium near Derawar Fort in the Cholistan Desert.
The first competitive round, featuring both male and female drivers, will take place on February 13. On February 14, participants will compete in the stock category race, accompanied by a cultural night showcasing local traditions. The second round, also including men and women drivers, will occur on February 15, alongside a dirt bike race. The rally will conclude with a prize distribution ceremony on the evening of February 15.

The rally is a major tourism and sporting event in southern Punjab, attracting both national and international participants. Officials say the revised schedule ensures better organization, safety, and maximum participation, highlighting the rich cultural heritage and scenic beauty of the Cholistan Desert.
The PTDC encouraged visitors and enthusiasts to plan ahead and experience the thrill, adventure, and cultural festivities of one of Pakistan’s premier desert rallies.
