KARACHI (Web Desk): Stray dogs foiled a robbery in Steel Town when they barked at armed men outside a shop, forcing them to flee.

A surprising incident in Karachi’s Steel Town has caught everyone’s attention after stray dogs stopped what could have been a serious robbery.

Two days ago, two armed men arrived on motorcycles at Bismillah General Store in the Russian Market area. They attempted to approach the cash counter by pretending they needed change. Their behavior seemed normal at first, but something unusual happened next.

Four stray dogs sitting near the shop suddenly surrounded the entrance. They began barking loudly and aggressively at the two men. The noise quickly created panic in the area.

The shopkeeper said the suspects were trying to get close to the till while making excuses. However, because of the dogs’ continuous barking, the men were unable to enter the shop.

When the shop owner stepped outside, the dogs stood near him as if protecting him. According to the owner, the animals may have sensed danger because the suspects did not appear to be local residents.

The unexpected reaction of the dogs forced the armed men to leave without carrying out the robbery. Residents in the area are now calling the stray dogs ‘heroes’ for their alertness.

Despite the incident being widely discussed in Steel Town, police have not yet visited the scene or taken any formal action. This has raised questions among locals about security and response time.
