(Web Desk): Sindh has made pre-license driving training compulsory and plans to train 100000 drivers in five years to improve safety and create jobs.

Sindh has made pre-license driving training mandatory, aiming to improve road safety and create skilled drivers for jobs at home and abroad.

The decision was taken during the 50th meeting of the Public Private Partnership Policy Board chaired by Murad Ali Shah. The meeting approved several major projects in education, transport, and tourism across Sindh.

Under the new policy, pre-license driving training will be compulsory for anyone applying for a driving license. Officials confirmed that no driving license will be issued without completing proper training. The government believes this step will reduce traffic accidents and ensure drivers meet safety standards.

The board also approved the establishment of Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) and Light Transport Vehicle (LTV) driver training schools throughout the province. These training centers will provide professional instruction and help drivers gain the skills needed for local and international employment.

The government has set a target to train and license 100000 drivers within the next five years. Authorities say this initiative will not only improve road safety but also help young people secure better job opportunities abroad.
