DOHA (Web Desk): Qatar backs Pakistan mediation, rejects need for new mediator, denies secret Iran deal, and calls for a unified regional stance.

Qatar has openly supported Pakistan’s role in regional mediation, saying there is no need to bring in any new mediator at this stage.

A spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Pakistan’s efforts are effective and should continue. The statement stressed that regional countries must work together instead of creating separate channels.

The spokesperson also rejected reports of any secret agreement with Iran, calling such claims “baseless.” He made it clear that no hidden deal or compromise has been reached.

Qatar said it faced Iranian attacks during the conflict period, which makes such claims even less credible. Officials added that the country believes in joint peace efforts rather than making private arrangements.

According to the statement, the recent ceasefire is an important step toward reducing tensions and restoring stability in the region.

Qatar emphasized that a united approach by regional countries is necessary to maintain peace and avoid further conflict.
