The date for the first 1500-rupee prize bond draw of 2026 has been officially announced. The draw will take place on February 16 in Lahore. Citizens holding 1500-rupee prize bonds are now eligible to participate in the draw.
According to National Savings, individuals can purchase the bonds from State Bank offices, authorized commercial bank branches, or National Savings Centers. Applicants must submit a copy of their valid CNIC along with their application to be eligible.
The prize structure includes a top prize of 3 million rupees for one lucky winner. Three additional winners will receive 1 million rupees each for the second prize category. The third prize will be distributed among 1,696 winners, with each receiving 18,500 rupees.
Winners can claim their prize money by submitting an official claim form at any State Bank field office, designated commercial bank branch, or National Savings Center.

Under the revised tax policy, prize money will be taxed differently for filers and non-filers. Tax filers will have 15 percent deducted from their winnings, while non-filers will face a 30 percent tax. The new rules aim to ensure transparency and compliance with Pakistan’s tax regulations.
