Pilgrims told to use official payment system
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has advised intending pilgrims to complete their payments through the official Pak Hajj app and portal.
Pilgrims have also been warned against making direct payments to individuals or private companies outside the approved system. The ministry has repeatedly highlighted the importance of using official channels for Hajj-related payments.
Its website currently carries alerts advising pilgrims to use the official Pak Hajj portal for private Hajj payments and avoid direct payments to operators. The instructions are aimed at protecting pilgrims from possible fraud and ensuring that their payments are properly recorded.
Rs18 billion transferred through Hajj Portal
The ministry said around Rs18 billion has so far been transferred through the Hajj Portal to the accounts of authorised Hajj companies.
Of the total amount, 45% was deposited through digital payment channels. The remaining 55% was paid through manual bank challans.
The payment figures show that pilgrims are using both digital and traditional banking methods to complete their financial requirements. The ministry has been monitoring the payment process to ensure that funds reach authorised companies through the approved system.
More than 2,000 Hajj packages available
More than 2,000 Hajj packages offered by 25 authorised companies are currently available through the Hajj Portal.
The availability of a large number of packages gives pilgrims different options when selecting services for their Hajj journey. However, the ministry has advised intending pilgrims to check the details carefully before making payments.
The government’s official Hajj website also provides information about private Hajj schemes and authorised Hajj service providers. Pilgrims are encouraged to use official information rather than relying on unverified individuals or companies.
Registration deadline set for November 20
The last date for registration under the private Hajj scheme through the Hajj Portal has been set for November 20, 2026. The deadline gives intending pilgrims additional time to complete the booking process. However, applicants still need to complete all required steps within the specified period.

The ministry has also been issuing updates and notices for private Hajj operators and pilgrims as preparations for Hajj 2027 continue. Pilgrims should therefore regularly check the official portal for any new instructions or changes.
Complaints can be submitted through the portal
