Passport offices across Pakistan will operate under revised public service hours during the holy month of Ramadan 2026 to facilitate citizens, according to an official notification.
Regional Passport Offices, Executive Passport Offices, and Passport Processing Counters will adjust public service timings while keeping overall administrative schedules unchanged.
Updated timings
From Monday to Thursday, token issuance and public service delivery will run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, whereas general office hours will remain 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. On Fridays, public dealings and token issuance will be available from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with offices continuing regular hours. A daily break for Namaz is scheduled from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
Authorities clarified that these timings do not apply to select high-capacity centers, including those under NADRA Mega Centers, which will follow their own schedules.

The government also shared revised fees for different passport categories:
36-Page Passport: Normal 5 years Rs. 4,500 | Normal 10 years Rs. 6,700 | Urgent 5 years Rs. 7,500 | Urgent 10 years Rs. 11,200
72-Page Passport: Normal 5 years Rs. 8,200 | Normal 10 years Rs. 12,400 | Urgent 5 years Rs. 13,500 | Urgent 10 years Rs. 20,200
100-Page Passport: Normal 5 years Rs. 9,000 | Normal 10 years Rs. 13,500 | Urgent 5 years Rs. 18,000 | Urgent 10 years Rs. 27,000
Officials urged citizens to plan visits accordingly and make use of online services where possible to avoid long queues.
