Step-by-Step Guide to Apply
Managing Director of the National Energy Efficiency & Conservation Authority (NEECA), Hamayon Khan, explained the application process in detail after the program launch. Interested households must visit the official portal at efan.gov.pk
or download the mobile app from Android or Apple App Stores.
Sign Up & Verify Eligibility: Applicants provide CNIC and electricity bill details. The system automatically checks eligibility, including payment history and meter ownership.
Select & Order Fans: Consumers choose the number of fans to replace. NEECA recommends selecting the 5-star certified energy-efficient model. A manufacturer will visit the home, replace old fans, and ensure they are rendered unusable to prevent reuse.
Confirm Installation: After installation and payment of a nominal fee, confirmation is done via the NEECA Online Portal (NOP).
Repayment via Electricity Bill: Costs are split into equal monthly installments and added to the next electricity bill for convenient on-bill financing.

Eligible applicants must have:
Valid CNIC and a registered electricity bill
No more than four delayed payments in the past 24 months
A domestic electricity connection (commercial users not eligible)
Existing old fans at the premises
