Officials say the surge reflects a major increase in travel activity as people travelled to celebrate Eid with their families.
On the first day of Eid, the railway earned Rs110 million.
On the second day, revenue increased to Rs170 million.
On the third day, earnings crossed Rs200 million, showing strong passenger demand throughout the holiday period.
Overall, Pakistan Railways generated more than Rs1 billion in total passenger revenue over the past week.
Officials say the Eid season played a key role in boosting ticket sales and train occupancy across major routes.
Railways Minister Muhammad Hanif Abbasi praised the achievement and said it reflects improved policies and better operational planning.
He congratulated the railway administration for what he called a positive step towards institutional progress.

The minister also stressed the need to further improve passenger facilities and services.
He said better travel comfort and strong railway infrastructure are basic rights of passengers.
Abbasi added that work is underway to upgrade services and improve operational standards across the network. He also announced a major development plan for the future.
According to him, the Karachi to Rohri railway track will be fully upgraded within the next three years.
Officials believe this upgrade will improve safety, speed, and overall travel efficiency for passengers.
Transport experts say rising revenues show growing public dependence on rail travel during peak seasons. They also suggest that improved services could further increase passenger numbers in the future.
