(Web Desk): Pakistan announces the first Hajj 2026 flight date as the Religious Affairs Minister confirms improved arrangements, travel facilities, and Saudi cooperation for pilgrims.

Pakistan’s Hajj 2026 preparations have officially entered the operational phase as the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs announced the date of the first flight for Pakistani pilgrims, along with enhanced arrangements for travel, accommodation, and services.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf made the announcement during his visit to Riyadh, confirming that the first Hajj 2026 flight from Pakistan will depart on April 18 and will carry the initial batch of intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.

Hajj 2026 First Flight from Pakistan Set for April 18

According to the announcement, the Hajj 2026 Pakistan flight schedule will begin on April 18, marking the start of the annual pilgrimage operations. The minister said that all necessary arrangements have been finalized in coordination with Saudi authorities to ensure a smooth and well-managed Hajj experience.

Upon arrival in Riyadh, the minister was warmly received by representatives of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) Saudi Arabia chapter.

Improved Facilities for Pakistani Hajj Pilgrims in 2026

The minister highlighted that this year’s Hajj arrangements for Pakistani pilgrims have been significantly improved. Facilities for accommodation, meals, and transportation have been upgraded in collaboration with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

He added that more than 25,000 Pakistani pilgrims will benefit from the Haramain High-Speed Railway, allowing fast and comfortable travel between Makkah and Madinah for the first time at this scale.

Better Arrangements in Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah

During the Hajj days, special arrangements have been made in Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah, ensuring better crowd management, comfort, and essential services for pilgrims performing the sacred rituals.

The minister emphasized that Pakistan is working closely with Saudi authorities to ensure a safe and well-organized pilgrimage experience for all participants.

No Additional Financial Burden on Pilgrims

Sardar Muhammad Yousaf assured that despite global economic challenges and rising fuel prices, no additional financial burden will be imposed on Hajj pilgrims this year.

He reaffirmed that the government is fully committed to completing the Hajj 2026 operation smoothly and successfully in coordination with Saudi Arabia.
