(Web Desk): A Pakistani federal minister expressed sorrow over the reported martyrdom of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and reaffirmed solidarity with Iran.

Federal Minister for Power Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the reported martyrdom of Ali Khamenei, stating that the incident has saddened not only Iran but the wider Muslim world.

In a condolence message, the minister said the people and Government of Pakistan stand in complete solidarity with their Iranian brothers and sisters during this difficult time. He described the situation as a shared tragedy and emphasized Pakistan’s consistent support for regional peace and unity.

“This sorrow is our shared sorrow,” he remarked, highlighting the importance of compassion and mutual respect between the two neighboring countries. He added that Pakistan values its longstanding relations with Iran and remains committed to strengthening bilateral ties.

The minister urged citizens to express their emotions peacefully and avoid taking the law into their own hands amid heightened tensions and public sensitivity. He also assured that the state will take necessary measures to ensure the protection and security of all citizens across the country.
