NADRA new guidelines: Renew ID cards and B-Form before budget 2026
National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has warned that fees for identity card renewal and children’s B-Form registration may rise after the budget. The move could help families avoid extra charges or penalties after the new budget.
Officials said people should renew expired national identity cards and register children before the deadline.
According to NADRA, the fee structure for services may be reviewed after the 2026–27 financial year budget. This means identity cards, children’s B-Forms, and related documents could face additional charges or penalties.
NADRA has especially advised parents to register children who still do not have a B-Form. Parents have also been told to convert B-Forms into smart cards for children who have reached the required age.
Officials said citizens who delay registration may face extra fees and legal complications later. Completing documents on time can help families avoid unnecessary problems.

NADRA has urged people to visit their nearest office and finish all required formalities before the end of June. The authority said timely action can save citizens from last-minute pressure and possible inconvenience.
Many families often delay document work until the final days. This latest warning has increased attention because a budget-related change could make routine paperwork more expensive.
The message from NADRA is simple and practical. People who complete documents early may avoid extra payments and future complications.
Parents may find this especially important for children’s records. A small delay now could create bigger issues later.
