(Web Desk): NADRA has launched nationwide facilities, free disability ID cards, and priority services to make identity access easier for disabled citizens.

Pakistan’s National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has rolled out dedicated facilities for persons with disabilities across all its offices, strengthening its commitment to inclusive and barrier-free identity services. The announcement was made on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, emphasizing NADRA’s pledge that no citizen should be denied access due to physical limitations.

According to the authority, NADRA issues a special identification card for disabled individuals, which is free for the first time and valid for life. More than 1 million disability-specific ID cards, featuring a unique symbol for identification, have already been distributed throughout the country.

Key Facilities and Services

NADRA has introduced multiple support features to make its centers more accessible. Disabled individuals can now book appointments via a dedicated helpline or through the Pakistan ID mobile app, allowing for faster and more convenient service. The app also allows users to register their disability directly in the system.
