The School Education Department has announced a revised timeline for the School Teacher Intern (STI) recruitment process across Punjab, issuing a fresh schedule to ensure smoother and more transparent hiring. The updated plan was released on Tuesday and shared with all districts province-wide.

Officials stated that the revised schedule is designed to make it easier for applicants to track each step of the process, from merit lists to interviews and final selections. Schools across Punjab will now display the initial merit list on December 3, allowing candidates to check their placement.

Applicants who wish to contest their position on the list can file objections on December 4 and 5 at designated tehsil-level offices. Complaints will be reviewed on the spot to ensure quick resolution and transparent handling of concerns.

Shortlisted candidates will then appear for interviews on December 6 and 7, during which authorities will assess their teaching abilities, academic records, communication skills, and suitability for different school positions.

The department confirmed that the final merit list will be published on December 8, both on school notice boards and through the official STI online portal. Successful candidates will be able to download their appointment orders on December 9, marking the last step of the process.

The School Education Department has instructed school heads, district officials, and applicants to follow the new timetable carefully to ensure a smooth, disciplined, and transparent recruitment cycle.
