In a major relief for residents of Lahore, the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has confirmed that uninterrupted electricity supply will be ensured during Eidul Fitr 2026.
To achieve this, LESCO has deployed senior officials on special duty and activated a 24/7 control room to handle emergencies and complaints in real time.
Special Duty Plan for Eid Holidays
According to sources, key officials including chief engineers and operational heads will remain on duty throughout the three days of Eid to ensure smooth electricity distribution.
The Director of Operations has been appointed to supervise the control room, ensuring quick response to faults and uninterrupted service delivery.
24/7 Monitoring and Rapid Complaint Resolution
LESCO emphasized that consumer convenience is its top priority during the festive period.

This proactive approach aims to prevent load shedding and technical disruptions during Eid celebrations.

Digital Transformation Project with NESPAK
In addition to Eid preparations, LESCO has also launched a major digital transformation project in collaboration with the National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK).
- Development of a GIS-based digital record system
- Estimated project cost of Rs. 4.5 billion
- Implementation in two phases
The first phase will cover Shalimar and Nankana circles, documenting transformers, meters, poles, and other electricity infrastructure.
Improved Power Management Ahead
The digital mapping initiative is expected to:
- Enhance power distribution efficiency
- Improve fault detection and maintenance
- Strengthen overall electricity management system
